LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Today's light for our path will dwell on Genesis 1:1-3.

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

At the beginning of creation, the bible says that God created the heavens and the earth. To create is to bring into being or form, something that did not exist. By creating something from nothing, God established himself as the ultimate source of life. He is the chief architect of the universe and the existence of life. 

When the earth was created, It was without form and void. There was a state of disorder or chaos yet, God's divine presence was still present. His Spirit moved over the face of the waters. At some point in our lives, we experience a state of disorder, confusion, despair, and disappointments. We are left in a state of void and helplessness. Sometimes, we feel that God is not with us or He does not care about our situations or circumstances. Today, I want to assure you that the presence of the Lord is with you in all situations. His Spirit is hovering over your life to bring about a miracle and deliverance from any bondage of selfishness and sin. He is seeking to restore you to the position that He designed for you. A position of fruitfulness and successes if you you will allow Him to take control of the steering wheel into your life.

In the midst of this void and darkness, God spoke His word and said "Let there be light." It was a command for light to be formed from nothing, and immediately, "there was light." When God speaks, the whole earth trembles and obeys. There is instant action. The light was formed to disperse the darkness. When God shines His light on your situation, there is instant restoration. You may not see it physically as you intend but there is something that has happened in the spiritual realms which will manifest itself in the physical at God's appointed time. Light is energy and when light strikes any surface, some changes occur in that object. Just think about lightening and its effects. Light gives energy to plants to manufacture their food by the process of photosynthesis. When God shines His light upon you, you are energized to brace and endure difficult situations. You are able to come our victorious because the light illuminates your mind and directs your path. 

As you meditate on this message, I pray that God's light will shine in your situation so that you will be victorious. May He provide you insights into the plans you want to undertake. May He heal you of all your diseases, be it cancer, autoimmune disease, inflammatory disease, or any chronic condition. May His light energize you whenever you are weak. 

God is the light that can disperse all your fears.

His word is the light. 

Accept it as it is and you will see its effectiveness in your life.
