Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4(NIV)
The is nothing better than to rejoice in the hope and calling of God. The joy that comes from serving the Lord cannot be compared to anything on this earth. When you rejoice in the Lord in all circumstances of life, the devil is relegated to the background. We are encouraged to "give thanks in all things." Your consistency in trusting God would produce great joy as you walk diligently with Him. Always rejoice because God does not change and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He does not fail because His word is forever sure and He performs whatever He says. Rejoice in the Lord always because you are always a winner. He won the battle on Calvary cross and He said it is finished. Rejoice always because you are covered with His blood so "no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper."
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Philippians 4:5(NIV)
When you are thrilled and excited about things in the Lord, you will remain calm and gentle. Gentleness means "Mild in temperament or behavior; kind or tender; moderate in action; not harsh or severe. Rejoicing in the Lord produces gentleness because you know who you are in the Lord and secured by His covering so you do not fret or worry in life. You remain calm in all situations because you know that God is in control. Because the Lord is near and in charge, let your gentleness be evident to all in every circumstance.
