YOU ARE VICTORIOUS IN JESUS' NAME

The hymn writer, Frances Ridley Havergal (1836-1879), wrote in the fourth verse of his hymn "Who is on the Lord's side":

Fierce may be the conflict,
  Strong may be the foe,
But the King’s own army
  None can overthrow.
Round His standard ranging
  Victory is secure,
For His truth unchanging
  Makes the triumph sure.

When you are on the Lord's side, the battle may sometimes be fierce but because the Lord is your captain, you know that victory is secured.

We know no defeat, we know no defeat;
Jesus is our captain and we know no defeat!

YOUR PERSECUTION IS NOT FOREVER!

Dear brothers and sisters,

The video below show how barbaric, wicked, insensitive, and diabolic this society have become. A woman was FALSELY accused of burning the Quran and she was brutally killed by the mob. Where is love portrayed by these religious fanatics? ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

JESUS is LOVE and He is THE ONLY WAY to get saved from your sins and avoid being thrown into the lake of fire, HELL.

This video is no different from what happen to Jesus and his disciples. It is the testament that the followers of Jesus will be persecuted more and more in the last days. Christians will always be persecuted but we have the confidence that we will be in a better place than this world when we pass away. We shall then rule the world as we sit with our maker in heaven and those you persecuted us will be thrown into the lake of fire to suffer eternal damnation if they do not repent and give their lives to Christ.

In the book of Acts 7:54-60 (NIV), we read about a similar story like the one in the video below.

"When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.  “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him,  dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.
While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”  Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep."
I want you to understand that the Lord will see you through all your trials and troubles if you stay strong to the end. Stephen was happy to be with the Lord, because he knew he was going to a better place. If his persecutors knew that, they wouldn't had stoned him to death. They rather hastened his arrival to heaven. What they intended for evil, God turn it into good!
Psalm 34:19 says that, "The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all."
John 16:33 also says, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
If you are being persecuted today, "Take heart!" The Lord is with you in all your trials and He has promised to help you go through it all the way to the end. He will provide a way of escape or the ability to endure according to His purpose for your life.
STAY THE COURSE AND KEEP EVANGELIZING UNTIL ALL ARE WON FOR THE LORD!

THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?      Jeremiah 32:27(NIV)
You may be searching for answers to a difficult situation in your life that has taken so long to the extent that you given up all hope in the Lord Almighty. You may have been declared hopeless by physicians because of an incurable disease or condition. You may be unemployed for a long time and there is no hope of been employed even though you have been searching vigorously. You may be looking for a child for a long time and all visits to the specialists have failed to yield any results. You may have attempted to pass a professional exam several times but you have not yet succeeded and the years are running away so fast. You may be running a business but you are not making any profit so you want to give it up.
Today, I want you to have a change of heart by acknowledging that all you efforts have failed but the Lord never fails if you wholeheartedly believe in Him. He declares, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? " There is nothing that is impossible when God is at the helm of your affairs. Things may be hard for you but with Him all things are possible. He created the heavens and the earth out of nothing, so He alone can turn nothing into something. How you see God is what will influence the extent to which you can trust Him to perform. It is a personal experience with Him that will expedite the performance of His deeds in your life. I pray that you will see Him as an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God.
In Luke 8:43-48, we read about the woman who had the issue of blood for twelve good years.
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
When all had failed, this woman never gave up hope. She knew that there was still the possibility to receive her healing if she stopped trusting in man and trust in the Lord. She needed just a little touch from Jesus, because she knew in her heart that Jesus was the Lord, the God of all mankind and nothing was too hard for him. It was that faith in Jesus ability to perform miracles that brought her everlasting healing. She left the presence of Jesus being assured that the condition would return no more. Jesus told her to "be of good comfort", that is, not to worry because she had come to the right person, the right place, and the right time. She was to go home in peace with no more pain or sorrow, but with great joy.
When you have an encounter with the Lord, you find great joy and solace because you know that the Lord cares about your needs and He provides them. Trust in the Lord and cast all your burdens on Him for He will bring you times of refreshment to your mind, body, and soul.
Wait upon the Lord and your redemption and deliverance will accomplished in Jesus' name.

WAIT FOR GOD'S PROMOTION!

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psalm 75:6-7 (KJV)

No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another. Psalm 75:6-7(NIV)

There are some people who think of themselves highly than others because they are rich, intelligent, in a noble profession, handsome/beautiful, etc. They tend to boast about what they have or what they can do. They forget that it is the grace of God that has allowed them to reach their current state. God chooses to bless anybody He wishes to, but He does it with the intention that the able-person can help the disabled, or the strong one to help the weak one. Just as all the fingers are not equal, so is the state of each person in this life.

When God promotes you, you must give all the glory and praise to Him. You must not ascribe your success to your hard work or being smarter than others. If you are in a position of power or influence, count yourself to be blessed as a servant in God's vineyard. It is God who has put you there to be a blessing to another. A true leader should understand that they are servants so they must serve by not thinking highly of themselves but lifting up those that they are called to serve.

Never promote yourself as the best of persons but allow God to promote you. When you try to promote yourself, you are more likely to do it by putting others down. You either ridicule or slander them in order to move to the top which is sinful.

Today, you may be on top but tomorrow, you may not! There is a quote which says, "When a bird is alive, it eats ants. When the bird dies, ants eat it. One tree can be made into a million matchsticks, but only one matchstick is needed to burn a million trees! Circumstances can change at any time. Don't devalue or hurt anyone in his or her life."

And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. Matthew 23:12

WAIT FOR GOD'S PROMOTION!

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22

Joseph in the book of Genesis was thrown into prison and was forgotten by all those he had helped, but God in His own time, exalted him. He was promoted from prison to a captain in Pharoah's palace. Though you have been forgotten, I pray that God would send somebody to find you and promote you today. Just remain faithful in your walk with the Lord like Joseph did. He was determined to live a life of holiness and righteousness.

TRUST IN THE LORD ALWAYS

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Psalms 56:3-4

When you observe babies and young animals, they tend to cling tightly on their mothers because they trust that they are in safe hands and their mothers would not cause them to fall or get harmed. When they seemed scared, they cling firmer. God is like a mother/father to anyone whose trust is in Him. He is a protector of them that love and trust in Him. He has assured us in His word that "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2

You need not be afraid of human beings, demons, poverty, sicknesses, etc. Evil and failures may rear their ugly faces but they cannot torment you if you put all your trust in the Lord, Almighty. He is the one who fights the battle on your behalf so you are always a conqueror.

David was always assured of God's presence. So he could say, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Psalm 23:4

He was comforted to know that God was always near by to provide all the help and assistance that he need. He has learned to trust God in all circumstances.

What can flesh do to you if you trust in God? May you be confident and assured of the ever presence of God in whatever conditions you find yourself today. God is able to accomplish all that He has said and purposed concerning your life. Let go of fear and allow Him to perform His wonder work in you. Keep praising Him for He is a faithful God.

YOU CAN CHOOSE TO BE WHAT YOU WANT TO BE

When life's seems to hit you in the face like raging storms,
When you seem to be discouraged by daily chores,
Take courage in your heavenly stores,
For there you will find strength in quantum bits.

Riches or poverty are choices to make,
Success or failure you can choose to be,
Only separated by a fine line of will.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue,
You can chose to be what you want to be.

Life's struggles are for a while,
Pursue knowledge and seek out for wisdom,
For success and riches are within your reach.
Never give up! Gird up your loins with endurance.
For persistence and perseverance will work the miracle.

EMPOWERED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DO EXTRAORDINARY THINGS

“‘In the last days, God says,  I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions,  your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below,  blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness  and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls  on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ Acts 2:17-21

The promise of the Holy Spirit is for all people who believe in the Lord. The Holy Spirit is the gift promised by Jesus Christ after He ascended into the heavens. The Holy Spirit comes to empower the believer to be able to do extraordinary things. Without the Holy Spirit, you would be timid in the things of God. Apostle Peter was a timid man until he was baptized with the power of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. He denied Jesus three times when he was arrested to be tried and crucified, but when the Holy Spirit came upon him he became a changed man. He was able to stand boldly in the midst of the crowd to declare that Jesus was the Savior and innocent man whom they crucified.

22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. Act 2:22-24

We are in the last days where Christians must desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit to be able to defend their faith in the midst of persecutions and lawlessness. Christians must stand before governments to demand justice for the needy, poor, and dejected. Christians must stand against false prophets and religious fanatics. We cannot do this by our own strength or power. We can do this if the Holy Spirit is in us.

For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7

Fear is a product of the enemy, Satan the devil. It is False, Evidence, Appearing, Real. The true evidence is that we have been given the spirit of POWER, LOVE, and SOUND MIND.
Fear robs us of these things. It makes us believe we are powerless. We cannot love because we are suspicious  or fearful of the other person. Because we feel powerless and hopeless, we lose our mind. But when you know the gift that you have in the Lord and you appropriate it, you can go through this Christian journey with boldness and sound mind.

Make the Holy Spirit you friend today by inviting Jesus Christ into your life and asking Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit. You can the live a victorious Christian life and begin to do extraordinary things. The promise of the Holy Spirit is for you and all generations to come . Amen!
