JESUS THE SAVIOR OF MANKIND

There is a say that "familiarity breeds contempt." When you get so comfortable with someone or a particular situation, some how, some significance of the person or the situation is lost. You begin to not take this person serious. The Jews at the birth of Jesus did not acknowledge him as the Son of God because they knew his family and his father was a carpenter. They were asking the question, "Can any thing good come out of a carpenter's family?" Familiarity can blind you from see the best in somebody and thereby lose your blessings or salvation. Who is the man Jesus to you? Do you acknowledge him to be the Son of God or just another good man? Is he just a carpenter's son to you or the Lord of your life? When he is Lord of your life, you hand over the keys of your life to him. He sits in the driver's seat and he drives you wherever he desires. You are no longer yoked to sin. Sin has no dominion over your life. You may fail into some sins sometimes but you do not become a habitual sinner. You live a victorious Christian life.
Today, if you don't know who this man Jesus is, I want you to know according to the Word of God in

Acts 2:36 that "Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified."

By accepting this fact, you open up your spirit to receive him just as He is. He says in

Revelations 3:20 that "Behold, I am knocking at the door, if any one opens the door, I will come in eat with him, and he with me."

Open the door of your heart and he will come and reside in you. You will be saved from all your iniquities and guilt. You will be born anew spiritually. You will feel a burden taken away from you and you will spend eternity with the Lord Jesus when he returns again or calls you home. Make this big decision in your life today. It is all free of charged. Jesus paid the price for your sins by being crucified. You have nothing to pay back except to live right with him when you allow him in.
